The Broccolini story began in 1949, when founder Donato Broccolini built a single-family home in Montreal. From his beginnings in the industry, Donato always stressed the importance of values such as honesty, integrity, perseverance, and an entrepreneurial spirit. He emphasized the importance of developing lasting relationships, with customers and collaborators alike, and of embodying an emphatic pride in producing work of exemplary quality. Over the past 75 years, though construction methods have evolved significantly, one thing has and always will remain the same: Broccolini is passionately committed to upholding its original philosophy, to build great buildings and great relationships.

WHAT MAKES BROCCOLINI DIFFERENT?
As CEO, I make sure we have the best-in-class talent around the table. The difference is that, at Broccolini, we really treat our collaborators like members of our family. We develop long-term relationships. For example, the relationship between Bruno St-Jean, the architect, and his firm NEUF is decades long. That’s the way we like it.
AND WHAT MAKES LE SHERBROOKE A UNIQUE PROJECT?
Because of its location, we saw this site as an opportunity to develop a project that takes inspiration from the traditional architecture that you see on Sherbrooke Street, while also creating something with a more modern flare, and that meets the needs of today.
WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST MOTIVATION?
We are extremely proud to build buildings that my own grandchildren will look at someday and say “Broccolini built that!”. This is why we put our best into everything we do, to be able to leave behind a lasting, quality legacy.
